


I was tasked with the design of the fullscreen "tears" for the Must Reads segment during CNBC's Worldwide Exchange. Must Reads are the choice articles of the day chosen by the anchors with a quote pulled from each article. Going for a more realistic approach, I decided to think of the Must Reads in terms of our main viewing audience: those in the business/financial industry. Thus, it seemed fitting to model the fullscreens after a businessman/businesswoman looking over the daily paper with a cup of coffee by his/her side. For the tears that involve news outlets only available online, having the information displayed on a tablet got that point across. Custom lower third was also made to match the fullscreen.
